SHAWN

Shawn Hollahan is a Los Angeles based Industrial Designer, Fine Artist, Social & environmental activist, a teacher of eastern healing arts (trained at Wat Pho temple Thailand) and and is currently getting his masters degree in spiritual psychology from University of Santa Monica (class of 2012). He is a graduate of Rhode Island School of Design ('98) with honors and studied product development at MIT. He has been producing original works of art for many years and is featured in the private collections of Blake Byrne and the Skylark Art Foundation, both highly renown in the art world and also many other notable personalities (names withheld for privacy purposes).


Shawn’s work combines nature and technology, hand craft and hi-tech to express his desire to see a world that embraces balance and environmental concerns.


In 2009 Shawn had a solo show in New York’s, Chair and the Maiden Gallery and at THE CELL gallery. An art installation he produced for a directors rendition of Walt Whitman’s poetry was featured in the NY Daily news, NY Times, Village Voice and other major publications.


He is currently hand fabricating an electric exotic car from his home workshop and preparing for his first Los Angeles solo show of recent works of art.
